AMPLIFY HEARING UPDATE DUE TO COVID-19
To our Valued Clients,
From all of us here at Amplify Hearing, we hope you remain safe and well, and we are here to support and help you in any way we can as the Covid-19 situation unfolds. We understand just how important your hearing is. However, many of our wonderful clients fit into the “at risk” category, and our top priority is to keep our clients and staff safe and well. Given this we have been busy implementing changes to keep essential hearing aid services accessible, while also limiting any exposure to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
CHANGING THE WAY WE SUPPORT YOU
Our office is now open again Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, please call or come through the Drive Through.
Please see the list of services below that will remain, with the addition of our new drive through window service! To adhere to the social distancing rules and help stop the spread, we are currently offering very limited face to face appointments.
DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW SERVICE
IF YOU NEED BATTERIES
We are happy to post batteries to you if you would prefer not to leave the house. Please call us to arrange this. If we are not open, please call and leave a message with your battery request and we shall send them as soon as possible.
Feel free to drive through our service window to pick up batteries, (don’t forget our reduced business hours above.)
IF YOU NEED REPAIRS
If you find your hearing aid is not working, please call us to arrange drop off of your hearing aid. You can either drop it in using our drive through window, or alternatively we will have a drop box at the front door outside of our business hours. Please remember to leave a note with your repair.
In many cases we are able to set up loan hearing aids for you, please call if you need this to be arranged.
LOST HEARING AIDS
Should you lose your hearing device we may be able to replace this using our current database information. Please contact us for advice.
TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS
We want to keep you connected as much as possible, so do not hesitate to ask for help or advice with one of our friendly clinicians. We are offering Telehealth consultations by appointment, please call us to request this. We can offer this as a standard audio (telephone) or also video (skype) call if you would prefer this. Any further government advice, (including complete closure) will be updated on our website and Facebook page should anything change.
IN HOUSE CHANGES
We have introduced measures in line with the Federal and State Government’s recommendations, including frequent disinfection of surfaces, strict hand washing protocols, and social distancing rules. In addition to this we are implementing the following changes;
Staff are using their own rooms, laptops, telephones and equipment.
Staff are adhering to the 2m2 social distancing rule at all times.
All staff are monitoring themselves for any flu like symptoms and will not attend work if they feel unwell.
All meetings with Manufacturer Audiologists are now online instead of face to face.
We take the health of our clients and employees seriously and hope the above will assist you to remain connected during this difficult time. Please stay safe at home and call us on 02 6021 7500 if you have any questions or need any assistance. We eagerly await the time when the health crisis is over and can’t wait to see you all again soon.
